Antique Vtg WHITMAN Co. Leather Western Saddle Cincinnati Ohio Retired U.S.A. Civil War Colonel R.E. Whitman Saddle maker. Fair to good condition. Needs some repairs but could be used as is or for decor. Some threads are coming loose. Worn and distressed. Well used. Would make a great display piece. Has the Famous retired U.S.A. Army Colonel Whitman metal tag on both sides and leather stamped both sides. Colonel Whitman started his business in 1874 and later it was sold to treasurer of the business William C.C. Mehlbach which still had the right to make the Whitman saddles. Sold as is. No warranty.
