Very good condition WWI US Model1917 C.T. bolo knife. Right ricasso is marked with the model designation. Leftricasso has partially visible “PLUMB ST. LOUIS” manufacturer marking and dated1918. Blade has original blue metal finish showing some normal wear. Remainingmetal finish is original blue showing some normal wear. Wood grips haveoriginal finish and a good tight fit with a few normal handling marks. Fittedin correct original canvas covered rawhide scabbard that has leather tip.Canvas shows a little normal wear and staining. Leather is supple with tightstitching and is clearly maker marked “A-K-CO” and dated 1918 with inspectorinitials. A nice classic WWI Doughboy bolo knife for your collection.
