Up for sale in this lot is a RARE and very nice Arisaka WWII Japanese ammo pouch made of rubberized canvas type materials and original Japanese oiler. This pouch is in very good condition and the body and hinge have stiffened from age. The top flap can be lifted a bit to insert or remove the oiler. This is a front pouch for cavalry troops and is considered a transition type that is made of both leather and rubberized canvas. This is a RARE pouch and i have only had a couple of these over the years. the last one of these that sold on went for $260 WITHOUT the oiler!!!! No major cracks or damage to the pouch. The oiler is original and is proof marked as shown in the pics. the oiler will need cleaned as it is covered in dirt and grime from 75+ years ago! This is a great pouch to display with your type 44 cavalry carbine!!!!
