World War I German Full Leather Belt with Imperial Crown and \"Gott Mit Uns\" BuckleThis is a full leather belt from World War I with the buckle roundel of German Imperial crown and \"Gott Mit Uns\" insignia. The buckle appears to be brass with the roundel of nickel. The only marking on the belt is \"100.\" The belt is completely in tact with no holes. The buckle is securely attached as well as the hook. There is an indentation in the center of the crown. See pictures for details.Typical of late war German belts, the inside of the belt is brown and the outside is a crude black color. Historical records show that the muted features of a darker uniform were determined to be greater camouFlage for the wearer.This item was collected by my grandfather who was in combat in World War I and is guaranteed to be original from that era. It has not had a good polishing or cleaning, allowing you to do whatever is proper for your use.
