Very good condition original WWI US ArmyEngineer Collins No. 1005 machete. Nice clear manufacturer markings on the leftside of the blade. 15 ¼” blade has original bright finish with some scatteredgray and brown. Green horn grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Fitted incorrect original leather scabbard that has brass throat and tip. Leather issupple with some wear and flaking, and has a tear on the edge. Belt loop has atear. Nice clear Collins markings on the front. Classic Collins 1005 machetefor your collection.
