Up for your consideration is this vintage, top of the line, 6.5 x 14 \" Yamaha Recording Custom 100% BIRCH snare drum in the sought after and discontinued \"Real Wood\" finish.This is what Yamaha today calls their \"Vintage\" finish. Model number SD-065D and the serial number is PX510 which dates it to October, 1989.This drum was made in Japan where Yamaha makes their most expensive and highest end drums.Although this is a used drum, it\'s in great shape, and needs nothing.The shell and bearing edges are super clean and true and it is evident that Yamaha made this drum with the tightest of tolerances and incredible attention to detail.
