Ca1950 Native American Indian Tin Lithograph Advertising Sign For "chief Paints" For Sale

Original ca1950 Native American Indian Subject, Double Sided, Tin Lithographed Advertising Sign for "Chief Paints" featuring a wonderful Portrait of an Indian Chief. This very attractive, Chief Paints Advertising Sign measures 28" by 12" and is made of sheet metal with all over, lithographed surfaces on both sides. Text on the Sign reads "Chief Paints" and on each side there is a bust portrait of a Native American Indian Chief at the left hand side. The Sign is well made but does not carry the mark of the manufacturer.


This wonderful, double sided, Native American Indian / Western Americana Subject Advertising Sign is in very good condition - the lithography is bright, crisp and very attractive and the Sign displays nicely. There are scattered small blemishes and small spots of surface loss with associated light surface oxidation as can be seen in the scans below but overall the Sign is well preserved and displays nicely. The Sign is 100% original with no repairs, restoration or in-painting. Please see the scans below for a good indication of content and condition.
