Looks nicer than you would think at this price point. Running it through a Fender Blues Jr., it sounds very good with the treble rolled off just a bit; good enough for some rare tracks in a home studio. There are flaws: one tuner is a hair bent, the stock strings are garbage (I expected that) but that didn't dampen my enthusiasm. Once you put real strings on it, set the intonation and get the bridge height right, you will find an instrument that is great for beginners or just light duty use, and it is really easy on the eyes. No extras are included except a medium duty cable, but it is very usable and a long cable. Order some Elixirs, a strap and maybe a bag if you need it. You aren't likely to send it back as long as your expectations are realistic at this price point.

Great mandolin for the money. Sounds great plugged in. Had to adjust the bridge but now it's totally playable. All notes play well on every fret. Worth the money for a starter mandolin.
