I looked for months at different tables that would fold up, be solid when unfolded, and have a good work space and storage area. Sound like a tall order ? I didn't think I'd ever find anything like it ? But this table did it ALL. I did write the seller several times and ask how much assembly was involved but they never responded. Anyhow, luckily I have a young college guy that does housekeeping and a multitude of other thing ! And he was able to put it together. There is a lot of assembly to it and between the two of use we were able to get it together. I wouldn't recommend this for an elderly woman or man who lives alone or has nobody to help them as it ends up rather heavy to assemble for one person. If your not the handyman type...lol But all and all there's a couple of holes to drill they don't tell you about in the instructions. But when it's all put together it ABSOULTLY FANTASTIC !!!..When open it's a GREAT work area that's VERY SOLID. We set it up and I used it immediately. And have been using it ever since. I'd HIGHLY recommend this table for anyone with a small kitchen that needs extra counter space or work area. I think it was well worth the money. I REALLY LOVE IT !!! Plus when you don't need it folds up to only about 6" deep and about 38" long X 3' high. It's 38 " high when opened. Exactly the same height as my other kitchen counters. We bought this for our COACH to add extra storage of frequently used small appliances such as coffee makers ( his n hers ) 🤷🏻♀️, toaster over, and random items we want easy access too when we are set up.
