For the amount of "line stripping " from reels I do Its OK, I need a new line stripper every 10 months or replace the rubber rollers, Motor seems OK for the job. I use rechargeable batteries as Regular seem to go out faster.

For as often as I change line on my rods,(once a year), this product was easy to use and seems like it would last for a long time. If you change line a lot or use heavy line, you might want to upgrade to a more substantial model.

Best tool for stripping off old line from any style reel I'm always doing about 15-20 reels at a time so this makes it easy

First off I was not concerned about the line stripping. I had an earlier Berkly model where the round sharpening stone had a hole in the center. Just put the hook in the indented center of the stone, turn it on and it sharpened hooks in seconds. Unfortuately I lost it. There was no instructions that came for sharpening part of your product. I looked it up on line to make sure I was doing nothing wrong. It's just not as good hook sharpner as the older model.

Maybe I just got a bad one but this thing sounds like it’s grinding when you turn it on. I have a couple of the old line strippers which are far superior to this one. Just sounds like it’s about to come apart.
