I bought this expecting harmans reputation for fantastic sq, they just dont build em like they used too. Its a good deal if you can find it cheap, like cheaper than the modern sony STEREO units. If not look else where. Sound was narrrow, flat, and all the things sq from a stereo shouldnt be yes it had a decent solid low end but thats not all thats important.

It's not the newest technology, and doesn't come with any digital sound ports, but it's one of the best receivers I've ever had. It has a very clear output, and blows my old system out of the water.
For $ 65.00 unit was a terrific value and easy on the budget and especially when I added an EQ and a Subwoofer this unit sounds DELIGHTFUL!

The seller's ID is Goosechunk and he claimed that this unit was in excellent working shape. It was packed horribly in a box with bits of broken styrofoam and sitting loosely in the mess. One of the subwoofer pre-out RCA plugs was loose and upon inspection the crome portion of the female input dislodged. It looked as if it had been pulled-out of the back of the unit, and shoved back on, to disguise the fact that it had been broken or forcibly pulled out. The receiver goes into protect mode after roughly 15 minutes of use. Watch out for this seller- He got my money, don't let him get yours. I would love to be able to give a review of this Harman Kardon beauty, but my disapointment with the dishonesty of the seller would probably color my opinion in an unfair way.
