We bought this island for my daughters 1 bedroom apartment. It is exactly what we expected it to be. There was a little imperfection in one of the corners of the top, (which is why I didn't give it a full 5 stars) but other than that it arrived in great condition. We opted to leave the casters off as we didn't want it to roll around (they didn't appear to be able to be "locked" into position). Just make sure you give yourself a dose of patience as it does take about an hour or so to assemble. ,

Purchased this a year ago: Easy to assemble, works well with gentle/light-use. Would be a good fit for a home with older kids & adults, as coffee/tea cart etc. Have this in a dog-training studio for employees/clients, and it's not holding up to our heavy-traffic space. Pros: *Looks just like the photos. *Easy & quick assembly even with one person. *Seems sturdier than expected considering it's not solid wood. *Caster wheels work well even on a thick rubber floor *The locking brakes work well, and are very solid. Cons: *The top does stain/warp very easily- highly recommend covering in contact paper or sealing with an additional product. Even small coffee spills quickly became a problem. *As it's a particleboard/MDF type material, be gentle during assembly. *The door mechanism on one side broke after a few months, and needs to be replaced- there are no replacement parts (that I've found) for the spring-insert which holds the door in place, so I'll need to figure out a lightweight hinge appropriate for the material of the island. Overall, I would consider purchasing this again for home use if I didn't have large, roughhousing dogs. Would not recommend for high-volume business use. Read full review

It's an okay product, for what I wanted and what I paid. It's not real wood. It is made of Medium Density fiberboard which most assembled products are made. The handles are not metal. It's very sturdy once you assemble it. It will hold a small Micro wave oven, and an array of pots and pans. The drawer is very flimsy, you probably have to buy a small piece of ply wood for the bottom of the drawer. The manufacture's instructions are not easy to follow. All in all its great for an apartment or a small kitchen. It looks great once its assemble. Seller was wonderful. Thank you.

Assembly wasn't bad and final product is just what we were looking for. Great value for the money.

This is one of the worst products I have ever purchased. I had it one day, and when I wiped the top clean with a hot soapy dishcloth , after it dried it all turned spotted with what looked like grease spots. Also the drawer would not open unless you yanked on it really hard. I had to pay $15.00 for a box to ship it back in, as I had thrown the original box away. Company would not pay for a box to return it. This picture is just one of the stains that showed up after I wiped the top down. I will never order from this company again. Cathy Miller
