I purchased my F9 about 6000 cups ago. All I can say is "What a Machine".....I paid $1100 for a demo unit which had 500 cups on it and have made another 6000 since. I will never have a drip maker in my house again. I still have way too many starbucks, but this machine has paid for itself more than once. I highly recommend the F9. My next machine will either be another F9 or an S9. You wouldn't be disappointed with this capresso machine. This machine has a very rich look to it on my counter. I just love it. The only thing that I would change on it would be a larger water storage container, but that's not really a huge concern.
My husband bought the Impressa F9 two years ago from Williams Sonoma. I was shocked at the price for a coffeemaker, but after using a few times I clearly understood why it was so expensive. What I love: 1. No more wasted coffee. Brew one cup at a time, in the different size amounts (programmable). 2. Piping hot, fresh coffee 3. Grinds beans for me. There's no need for a separate grinder. 4. Provides me with statistics on how many cups of coffee I have brewed over the life of the product. This quickly allowed me to calculate my return on investment. If I purchased a cup of coffee a day at a coffee shop, and I used to, then this purchase has already paid for itself. 5. After two years, I haven't had one single problem with this machine. Excellet design. What I don't like: 1. The water reservoir could be larger. Highly recommended. I am on eBay now searching to buy another one, as a gift to my Mother who fell in love with our's while staying with us recently!Read full review
Great coffee as usual from Capresso's family of coffee makers. We already had a F7 and the F9 is just as good with some added digital features. You can't go wrong with any of their automatic coffee makers and they stand behind all their products.

This machine allows you to make coffee or espresso in the exact amount and strength you prefer. Excellent design, extremely easy to use, easy to clean. I have worked as a barista in a small cafe and used a professional machine costing over $4000; the F9 is easier to use and produces comparable results even with 4 less bars of pressure than a higher end/higher priced commercial model. Also produces faster results than the higher end models since it stores the beans, grinds, tamps, and even collects the spent grounds. Great for decaf and regular coffee lovers as you can bypass the grinder system and add other coffees for different tastes. Generous removable water tank with built in filtration system. The price dropped considerably from $2200 to only $399 at Williams-Sonoma when they stopped carrying this model earlier this year. If you get lucky enough to find one at about $400, it's a steal, and the warranty from the manufacturer is two years. Everything Jura Capresso put in their write up on their website is true with ONE exception: if you like cappuccino, the froth it produces is weak and deflates easily. I have troubleshot this problem from every possible angle and the result is still disappointing. I could send the machine back for warranty service - no shipping cost to you; they pay both ways. It is possible they could adjust/fix the frothing stem or whatever causes the lackluster results, but instead of waiting four weeks to get the machine back, I opted for a quicker, easier solution. The easiest fix for this is to buy an Aerolatte: steam your milk with the F9 (steam function works great) and then whip till your hearts content with the Aerolatte. For an extra $15 bucks, you'll have the perfect cup of cappuccino to rival any cafe. An excellent product overall for coffee, espresso, and lattes.Read full review
This is my second Jura and I couldn't be happier. The machine performs just as advertised and is beautiful. I first bought a f7 because I thought the Jura's looked cool! and justified the price by telling myself I wouldn't go out for coffee anymore. I paid $1100 for my f9 off of ebay and haven't bought a couple of coffee anywhere since I've been using it. Although I will say, the money I probably saved not buying starbucks has gone into coffee cups, expensive beans and other accessories...plus I gave my f7 away as a present because I think there so cool. So it probably has been more expensive for me to own the thing....but oh well. Another point about customer service for those buying new machines, after one week of owning my f9, one of the buttons was not working right so I called customer service. After waiting on hold for 6+ minutes, I talked to a very nice service rep. After about 30 second of explaining the problem, she said she would just mail a new one out. She took my address and I received it in the mail 4 days later. No credit card, nothing. Just the serial number of my machine, I didn't even send a warranty card in. All postage paid, coming and going. I've never heard of such service before. It was absolutely excellent. It can seem like a very expensive machine but if you love coffee, technology and owning a top notch product...it's hard to find any machine that is better. Delonghi doesn't even compare! Hope this was helpful!Read full review
