I used to dream about having this kit when I was a kid. Unfortunately I could not afford the price that it was going for at the time. Now that I am older (and then some😀) and finally have some extra cash to spend, trying to find this kit at a reasonable price was a nightmare. Fortunately I found this one. In terms of kit itself, well it is Tamiya. Do you need to say anything more? I’ve not built the kit so far, but having had a look around in the box, it would appear to me that it is up there with Tamiya’s normal AAA+ standard and will no doubt go together like a dream.

The kit is the original version, now several decades old. The state of the art has changed and recently a new, updated version of this kit became available by Tamiya that includes PE (photo etched) parts. In retrospect I wish I would have spent the extra money and purchased the later version.

I build many models and getting this used one is a good deal for me. The parts are all there and even though the decals are old, I have another source to get new decals; so a very expensive model for a bargain price was good for me.
