Likes: First of all, it does the stuff I wanted. The HDMI switching, up-converting, good sound, ease of setup, and reasonable price. If you don't need or want to tweak a bunch, this receiver does a lot automatically and does it competently. I have the Xbox 360, PS3 with Blu-Ray, Sat Receiver, and a DVD recorder. Everything was "plug and play" easy. The features available for the price was the main reason I bought this receiver Dislikes: Not much really. If you do a lot of customizing, some of the menu seems less than intuitive and "clunky" The manual is competent, however. I wanted to have 4 HDMI inputs but not enough to move up to that price level.
Looks good works good has a small to it might need good cleaning but l like it sounds great

Great sound! Still like the old speaker connections where you push the tab down and insert the wire. Bought this model because of the features and space I had for it.
WOULD HAVE BEEN A FIVE BUT NO REMOTE

It's all right for the price... was expecting little more balls, and quality out of this reciever. Felt a little let down for a Sony... Felt I should have saved a couple hundred more dollars for a better quality 7.1 receiver! You get what you pay for- It's no better than average!
