so ive had this amp for at least 6 months with no issues ,use it everyday for practice and have used it in live band settings ,i run 2 x12 out of mine but 4 x12 is fine as well, gets good distortion and clean ,i run ds1,wah ,vibe thru it no problems, to me its was a great deal for the price and im suprised there still for sale ,mine was dated 2011 ,so they have sat a while ,mystery why there are not many out there and not popular ,nady has been making gear for decades, maybe ill buy another and moth ball it, either way if you want a big tube 100w tone monster this is good

I play live with this amp. It has the best tone for me that I've ever had. I woud take this over my 6505+ anytime. I am an original artist with a tempered ear and style; so I know what I want at this point. But here are some considerations you need to take into accout: There is no effects loop so all your effects must be up front. (works great for me) The clean distorion channel is louder than the others if you switch back to it and... There is no channel footswitch (it has boost and reverb) and.... The boost went out on my 2nd show. The cheap chinese tube blew after the 2nd show as well. But I got another one because they sound great. Switching from clean to overdrive is difficult because your overdrive pedal will still sound a bit plucky unless you physically turn the knob to channel 2 or 3 and then add your overdrive. (it might take some adjusting). BOTTOM LINE: CHEAP AMP, SOUNDS GREAT.Read full review

Pros Being a satisfied owner of Nady PA Amp and Speakers, I decided to take a chance and purchase the GTH-100 head. Even running through a cheap Crate 4x12”120 watt speaker cabinet it has a classic tone and has become my favorite Guitar amp. I like the different choices of input and preamp gain. With the main (pre) and master (output) volume controls, 30/100 watt option and great presence control one can get great sounds from clear clean to creamy distortion trough all volume levels. It is built solid and the unopened factory packaging was excellent. It was shipped with the foot switch included (the manual stated it was optional on one page but included on another.) Cons: The 4 ohm output jack was filled with glue and its label taped over. Maybe the design had loading problems or transformer used lacked the required 4 ohm tap. The manual was unchanged and no explanation was included. I had to make an adapter cable to run my two 8 ohm cabinets in a 16 ohm series configuration. Nady will not provide a schematic, which are readily available for most every other tube amp manufacturers. Maybe because of shock hazard. Nonsensically, the manual describes how to check the output Bias, which could have less knowledgeable owners wondering the high voltage circuit without a map sort of speak. The output and power transformers were bent at their mounting bases probably because it was standing on its left side within the added outer packaging (tube amps should be shipped in upright position.) So it took a beating and worked perfectly right out of the box. A deal is a deal and I won't send it back. Read full review

The Nady 100 watt all-tube amp has a number of features you don't see on other, more expensive heads. There are three 12AX7 preamp tubes, four EL34 power tubes, real spring reverb,a three-way preamp selector, and a switch to select either 100 watt output or 30 watts, a REALLY handy thing to have for both recording and live shows! The price is deceptively low to the point where you wonder if it could be so good at such a low price. It IS!!!
