Great for my little home studio. Has option of being used as a power amp(2 ch.) or a 5.1 surround. Has plenty of power to keep up with a band and multiple speaker outputs for full range of sound. I had one back in the late '90's and loved it. So when I saw one on ebay for a fraction of what I paid in '98, I jumped on it and glad I did.
13 Years and still kicking butt.... wish I could find a remote to work for this thing, but I guess burns some calories getting off the couch to adjust volume, etc.
I had one of these and it's absolutely amazing, if I could afford it I'd buy it. AIWA went belly up a few years back but they made some spectacular equipment. You can't go wrong with this receiver.
it was what i needed.so i tried to find on ebay.i wood of like to have known that it had problems.i keeped it anyway and took it in to get fixed.
