The 1935 to 1938 Buffalo nickel issues are the common dates in the series. The 1935 is not as rare as the earlier Philadelphia Mint issues in mint state condition, but it is scarcer than the 1936 and 1937. Most specimens are very well struck and luster is a usually a cross because frosty and satiny.
