Makes good coffee and easy to use but the minute setting does not work . If you wanted to set it for 6:30 when you get up its ready forget it . It has to be set for the hour . Not all will be this way but mine is and its not worth the price to ship it back . Just remember its a factory second so something has made it a factory second . Just a little update on this coffee maker , the above review was when I purchased it , since then the face plate has fallen off due to factory screws that held it on that come in from back side , has broken the plastic where they thread into the face plate . It is a very shoddy assembly no product control at all . I only fix coffee one time in morning and I don't rough it up just normal use and its falling apart . Take my advice and don't purchase one of these , go with a good brand .Read full review

This is an old-fashioned sort of coffeemaker; no coffee pods or instant one-cup brew. However, this product has several features that I've not seen elsewhere. (1) It has a removable soft-plastic water reservoir, so you can lift it out and fill it in the sink, without pouring water all over the place, plus this design cuts down on any potential mold/mildew you may have created over time with other coffeemakers, since it is not stationary and built into the main body. (2) it has a vent on top to let out steam, once again reducing opportunities for mold/mildew. After I finish using it each day I flip up the flap on the back which covers the opening of the water reservoir (to help it dry completely in the interior), I wash out the carafe and also the coffee filter holder, which swings out for easy loading of the filter and coffee. I swing away the filter holder (partially) to help the leftover water evaporate. These post-coffee actions further reduce the incidence of mold/mildew, which always came over time with other coffee makers I'd had. I've really never seen another inexpensive coffee-maker (or in any other expense category, actually) with these features. It really helps keep the coffee tasting fresh and unadulterated. It is unfortunate that this model has been discontinued.Read full review

I love the fact that the pot does not drip when pouring! And that there is a removable reserve to fill your water. Perfect!
