I was hoping I could rely on the Greatneck name to be decent quality even if its coming out of China. I have another set from this brand and the quality is ok. This set can with like defects in the finish. Like the casting was bad and they just chrome finished over it. There was also tooling marks and flakey finish on the wratchet. I knew i couldn't expect snapon quality at sum 10$ but if i were Greatneck id be embarassed this left my factory with my name on the label. I would have been better off spending a couple more bucks on a Harbor Freight socket set with a lifetime warranty.

Maybe the Navy spoiled me with all the Snap-on, and the sockets themselves are probably okay, but the ratcheting wrench is absolute garbage. The bearings in the socket adapters are also garbage. I needed a cheap set quickly as all of my stuff is in storage out of state, and I definitely got what I paid for. Probably okay for little household jobs. Far from ideal for any car maintenance.

This is NOT a torque wrench, but is a cheaply made ratchet set! But, for $20, you get what you paid for.....actually not, considering it’s not a “torque wrench” as advertised.
