Purchased this gun for my 10 year old son. He loves the gun. The only thing I wish is that the description communication more clearly what type of caps (paper vs plastic) are needed.

Prior review person is ignorant. The package clearly shows side of the gun opening for roll cap install. Also no ring cap section. This is a very fine example of what quality was like 30 years ago. The die cast is smooth and firing spring is easy for 6yr old to pull the trigger. You need roll caps. They sound great and smoke is easily seen. This is a great toy for any age. Handles are plastic but the rest of the gun is diecast. Plastic red / orange cap can be removed.
