The NICEST sounding amp I have ever come across. If you like the way a Vibrolux sounds, but don't want the negative feedback loop popping sounds get a VibroVerb! This is the R.I. (re-issue) model, not original only made for (1) yr = RARE/$$$, that were the first Fender Custom Shop built amp - EVER! It was built for 5 yrs., 90-95 and has a solid state rectifier replacing (2) tubes of the original. Other than that it is all tubes and sounds GREAT! Tube biasing IS required for the '90-'92 1/2 models by replacing/re-soldering a resistor of 1K Ohms with a new 3K Ohm behind the control plate (for softer starts on the tubes), but in front of the speed/intensity dials- Removal of the electronics pan out the back is required, and the (2) handle screws MUST be removed along with the (2) top metal (4) bumper screws to slide it out! I'm lucky enough to have the second 1/2 of '92 (summer) model so I just missed having to do that hassle as it's self biasing. More info can be found online - goodluck!Read full review

Awesome amp. Unique fender tones. Kinda like having that quality wool jacket when you need it. In between tweed and blackface sound that doesn't disappoint.
