hi, its been nice seeing these old dollar bills on Ebay, and being able to bid and win them, I am collecting these for my granddaughter for her to sell later on to help her with education or what ever. These are the kind of item that does not loose its value. Also ,you just do not find these so easily. There are other items as well on ebay that hold their value, old currency is just one of many collectible items out there. The dealers are very knowalgeable and great people to gain info on other items as well. I find this very rewarding and a greta way to help my grand daughter at the same time, good luck collecting. The only draw back is Ebay should stop people from SNIPPING, this has happen to me more than i can count, also this is un fair because i have seen bids that are not ending when they should.I have questioned this before and will do it again, I am sure i will get the same type answer, but i do not believe this ,not when i sit there and bidding ends and 5-10 seconds go by and i find out someone else wins, if this continues I may have to look at other sites out there and go that route, its a shame that snipe ing is allowed to go on,this is something Ebay needs to address, thanks ,good luck.Read full review
Venturing into paper and thought this was a good value taken into consideration other specimens shown at the time. I trust the grading agency involved here, and the certificate is a work of art. VALUE IS THE KEY TO ALL MY PURCHASES BUT THE ARTWORK OF CERTAIN US AND BANK NOTES TRUMPS PRICE AT TIMES!

The 1899 $1 silver certificate "Black Eagle" is one of my personal favorite notes. Even as a teenager who could only wish to be one day able to afford one, I always found the eagle itself Eerie and cool. I have owned over 20 in grades 58PPQ and higher. 6 consecutive serial numbered run of FR.236 and this one is the Lowest serial number that I have owned. It has graded a 64 NET for a very small corner piece missing. Not sure how the missing piece came to fruitation however had it not been for that it would have most definitely graded 65 OR 66 PPQ/EPQ!!! As a 2 digit serial number note itself will command a significant premium over the note itself; at the current grade level 64 will in itself realize $450-$550 in auction; being serial number 47 will double or near triple these figures. This note stands to gain enormous value in the future as the new owner will not wish to part ways with it and will be significantly difficult to acquire a low serial number in the next coming years or even decades at auction. No matter the price before the hammer falls, YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU LET THIS NOTE TO BE SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!Read full review

The dollar is in great shape.; I had thought that it was not real, but cheeked other dollars and finally came to the conclusion that it was a good paper dollar.
