I am an avid reloader. I have used many different dies from other manufacturers. I have found that the Lee family of dies are an excellent value for the beginner or seasoned reloader. I own many from pistol to rifle and have never had an issue. They are straightforward, tough, and have a great crimping die. I also use them with other dies, (micrometer types), for very precision loading. They lock up nice without the need of a locking ring. You can’t go wrong with a Lee die set. I highly recommend Lee

It is the cheapest reputable die set you can get. However, when sizing the the depriming arm will come loose often no matter how tight you crank it down. It is not a rod that screws in, you tighten the arm and it will always work loose over many repetitions with stubborn primers. It works ok just would prefer the RCBS design.

I bought these because I've used other Lee products in the past. I always full-length size the rifle brass, so that's why I chose this particular set. I'm able to get very consistent ammunition using them. I use them in a combination of presses. I perform the full-length sizing step in a Lee single stage press first, then in a Lee Classic Cast Turret Press for the other steps. Because I utilize cast rifle bullets, I also use the Lee Universal Case Expander Die (has to be purchased separately) as the first stage in the turret. If you aren't using cast bullets you don't need the expander die. The best accuracy is obtained by consistency, and these dies are capable of doing that for a very decent price. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone interested.

You just really can't go wrong when you go with a company that has set the bar for reloading equipment, for as long as Lee has been in business. Almost everything they produce is top of the line, heavy duty, USA made, and comes in a complete set ready to use without the disappoint of realizing your gonna need one more die before you can get started. Loaded my first 40rnds the day they arrived, with no problems, inspite of the fact that I had forgotten to lube the first 10 cases. I highly recommend this product and will look for them in my future purchases.

Really good product. I do not claim it is better than more expensive brands but, neither of less quality. If you are looking for something that will do a good job and will not break your bank, this is the product for you.
