I previously purchased an off-brand version of this set. The quality wasn't quite as good as advertised, and the pickup cover wasn't actually wide enough to go over the pickups. Definitely worth paying just a little more for the genuine article. It fits, it looks great, and I know if I come to sell my Precision on, the genuine Fender parts will help to retain the value.

These were a gift for my father. He reported that the holes didn't quite line up on his bass, so he had to drill an extra hole in one of the covers to make it fit. I believe it was the bridge cover that required drilling. His bass is valuable and he wasn't about to drill into it to match the covers.
