this is 24 1/2 inches long and it is made of several parts that screw together the longer parts look to be tree branches that were hollowed out . it has a chip on the side of the middle part but it does not affects its use. i got this with some ww1 helmets i bought decades ago and put it and o forgot about it until the other day then i ran on to it . it is probbly suppose to have more parts like a mouth piece and some kind of hopper .
