Offered here is an exceptionally hard-to-find Vulcan Model 6T-160 six-transistor AM pocket radio, finished in a striking red cabinet and accompanied by its original Vulcan-branded carrying case.

TESTED AND FULLY FUNCTIONAL. The radio has been tested with a 9V battery and operates properly. It powers on, receives radio broadcasts, and produces audio as intended.

This is not simply an attractive vintage display piece—it is a functioning example retaining its original Vulcan identification, matching branded case, factory model label, and detailed internal chassis.

CONDITION — PLEASE READ

This radio is many decades old and retains honest age-related wear.

There are visible cracks/hairlines in the rear plastic cabinet, and they have been intentionally photographed in close detail.

One crack is located toward the upper portion of the rear cover near the top/vent area.

There is also a longer diagonal hairline/stress crack across the rear panel. Although visually noticeable, this longer line does not extend completely through the plastic.

Most importantly, the cracking does not affect the fit of the rear cover. Once installed, the back fits extremely tightly and securely on the radio with no looseness or functional issue.

Additional wear includes light scratches, surface marks and normal cosmetic aging consistent with a vintage plastic radio of this era.

Nothing has been intentionally hidden or minimized. Multiple photographs of the cracks, rear cabinet, case, front, sides, controls, chassis and identifying marks have been provided so serious collectors can thoroughly evaluate the exact piece being offered.
