A pair of gold ormolu four-light Empire period candelabra / Candlesticks circa 1800s for dining table, dining room, living room.
22 inches tall, 30"+ with candles..French Louis-Philippe period, Circa: 18401800s. Antique with commensurate wear. I'm sterling sturdy condition... Comes apart for easy shipping..Beautifully detailed down to the fingernail.Two gilt bronze candelabras in the Troubadour style, decorated with figures illustrating courtly love. This is a secret, idealized love reserved for the nobility, and dates back to medieval times. The four arms of light, richly adorned with fluting and foliage, are supported by a knight and a lady, standing on a small leafy pedestal and square base. The lady is elegantly dressed and holds a her sheet music while the Gentleman Plays his lute with a beautiful sword at his hip.
