I personally think Doc Holliday knew personally that his time was short, and that Johnny would be a thorn in Wyatt side forever. So Doc Holliday took care of business for his very best friend Wyatt Earp.

➡️. They say that Johnny Ringo was one of the fastest gunslingers in the west. My bet is Doc was faster. He was just very modest, and never boasted. Quoted to say: “ I’m your huckleberry to Johnny Ringo.

➡️➡️ Especially for an obsolete one of a kind photo that’s now coming under the spotlight since 1968 and before. I personally think that only 1 person in 1968 held this photo in his personal collection for years. Then to my father. Then to me.
