For sale is an exceptionally rare and very well preserved 1960’s period Alfa Romeo dealer advertising sign.

This sign came from a family garage in England that were official importers of Alfa Romeo. These signs are exceedingly difficult to find and were normally used as promotional advertising for various retailers. It is a great size and also very impressive when seen in person.

The sign is double sided and features a robust aluminium enclosure. The sign panels are made from thermoformed plastic and are still intact. There are some very light cracks on the side profiles but overall it is still a remarkable piece.

The internal lighting is completely original since it was removed. It has not been disassembled or tested. The sign was manufactured in Italy but was wired for 220v as it was a UK issued sign.

This nostalgic and atmospheric piece is very striking and would be perfectly suited for an enthusiast to have on display. It has been privately owned and enjoyed but now the time has come for a new home to be found. I will ensure the sign is safely packaged for its journey to its new owner.
