This piece was handcrafted in 1988 by the world-renowned artisan workshop Artesanía Morales in Toledo, Spain, using the traditional "damasquinado" technique. Unlike common geometric Spanish souvenir plates, this specific motif was produced as a high-end specialty piece featuring the American Eagle heraldic crest.Features & Materials:- Inlay Artistry: Hand-inlaid with authentic 24-Karat Yellow Gold.Base: Traditional black-oxidized steel plate (with some minor tarnish as expected).- Motif: Finely detailed U.S. Great Seal centerpiece surrounded by an intricate gold filigree border.- Provenance: Includes the original paper Guarantee / Certificate of Authenticity issued by Artesanía Morales, dated 1988 and signed by workshop representative J. Morales.- Accessories: Comes complete with its original brass tabletop display legs/stand.Condition:Excellent vintage condition. The black steel backing and right side has a few signs of rusting. The gold thread inlay remains brilliantly crisp and vibrant. The original 1988 paper certificate is intact with minor natural age toning.
