antique mahogany Roll top desk from U.S capital building in1939 with paperwork..This desk came from the us capital in 1939 I have letter describing the reason of sale and bill of lading and railway receipt where it was delivered to Chattanooga Tennessee to my family.The Desk is very well built it has minor nicks and scratches from normal day to day use. Roll top works as it should it has been in the same corner of our home for over 80 years I will discuss shipping to interested parties. The bill of sale says it was sold for 250.00 in 39.at standard rate of inflation for today's time the price would be within pennies of my asking price. We had it appraised for insurance purposes in 1993 at 27000.00. Thanks for looking
