Signed Andy Warhol print, signature in a light red-ish coloring. Resembles colored pencil or something similar of that nature. This is hand signed. This was signed beneath a black and white portrait of Diane Keaton in his well known silkscreen photographic style. The verso image in scan #2 is shown as it is displayed on the verso of this item. Based on the verso scan shown, these appear to be clipped pages from a book or multi-page portfolio rather than standalone prints.
Warhol and Keaton were part of the same New York social scene during the 1970s and he was well known for his celebrity portrait work throughout that era. Condition is good with light handling wear consistent with age. Dimensions listed below.
Limited information accompanies this piece but it was represented to me that this was obtained at a New York City gallery opening where it was brought and signed by Warhol in the presence of a family; specifically a son who attended with his father. It remained in their personal collection for many years before being placed in storage at an sale house along with a larger collection of items. That full collection was eventually sold, and this piece came to me among a number of works by various artists from that same source.
