This is a nice vintage ciborium as shown.
Extra large cup is perfect for feast days and holidays. Could hold about 1,000 hosts.
The cup is European silver. The base is brass.
All handmade. Hand crafted. Ornate decoration throughout.
The Latin text around the cup reads:
+ ECCE PANIS ANGELORUM FACTUS CIBUS UIATORIUM +
Cabochon stones in the cross on the cover and base.
It measures 15" ht. to top of the cross, large 6 1/4" diameter cup, 7 1/4" base.
No memorials. Nicely gold plated. A beauty!!
