Vtg Huge Hand Made Sterling Silver Turquoise and Fire Agate Indian Chief Western Belt Buckle.Buckle measures 6 1/8" wide by 5 5/8" tall and will accept up to 1 3/4" wide belt. Buckle weighs 21.1 oz or 596 grams. this is a very large turquoise stone. It is signed by the scuptor on the back inluding carat weight of 2045 carats. This piece of art was made by two artists R. Valdez Silversmith and Jerry Nei Sculptor. Please note this buckle is not for wearing, it is just too big and heavy to be worn. Also, stone slightly moves but stays in the buckle but I do not think it is safe to wear it as stone is large, thick and heavy and may fall out. On the back it says, "R. Valdez Phoenix AZ Silversmith, ScuIpture by Jerry Nei, 2045 carats Turquoise, 25 carats Fire Agate". It is not marked for metal content but had been tested to be sterling silver. Buckle has scratches and stains from age, please see pictures carefully. Incredible piece of art and display piece for any collector.Questions are welcome and please check out my other listings.
