Up for sale is a vintage handmade Maison Gripoix poured glass flower cachepot forCoco Chanel, circa 1930's. The flowers rest in a gilded metal pot. The pot is in the cane pattern and measures approximately 1 3/8" high and 1 5/8" in diameter. The violet glass flowers with the green blown glass foliage along with the rhinestone pistil make a gorgeous combination. Total cachepot is approximately 3" high and 2 3/4" in diameter. At the time it was presented to high end customers byCoco Chanel and became a fixture in the homes of the wealthy and famous. This cachepot is in very good condition marked FRANCE. Two glass petals missing (see pic. #4), but not visible unless one knows. Absolutelystunning handmade art item. Good luck with your offerding.
