Shelby Bicycle 1940’s to early 50’s? with Vintage Carlisle Indian Lightning Dart white-wall balloon tires.

Included is a rare original bike lock with reflector, Kiwanis bike emblem, reproduction bell and light.

I’m in no way an expert on Vintage bikes but this is what I was told about the bicycle:

It’s hard to pinpoint manufacturing dates since there is not really a database on them.
Bike is most likely 1940’s to early 50’s.
Bike was refinished at some point,
There may be some different manufacturer's parts on it.
The chain ring is from that time period.
The fenders are not correct
The seat is not vintage.

The Carlisle lightning dart white-wall balloon tires are in good shape, the inner tubes need to be replaced as the bike was sitting for some time and not stored on a bike rack. Normal wear and scratches. Missing one screw and bolt on one of the aluminum rod's ( I might find it as it's on the floor in my garage!) Bike could be restored or just a tune up to get it running good. A great vintage beach cruiser, rides like a Cadillac!

The bike weighs over 50 pounds so I prefer local pick up.
