This is a limited edition Serigraph Art Cel low No. 179 of 1000. It has been specially created to commemorate Mr. Walter Lantz, who passed away March 22, 1994 at the age of 94. Heralded the world over as the “dean of American animators”, Mr. Lantz’s creative contributions to the field of animation are incalculable, and his stable of stars, including his most famous creation, Woody Woodpecker, will continue to entertain millions throughout the world and generations to come. Condition of the cel and frame is excellent. Comes with an attached Certificate of Authenticity. This poignantly done limited edition animation cell commemorates. This is an out of production collectors serigraph cel from the early 1990s. Frame size is 23.25” x 21”. Cell has shifted in the frame slightly and would need to be positioned back in place over the black and white photo of Walter\'s studio. Framed behind glass.
