This is an extremely rare and desirable set of Ferrari 1960s original press photographs which originate from Germany. I have seen singular press photos previously but never such an extensive collection and all with original handwritten notes from the press offices. It feels like handling 1960s Ferrari history! Some of the photos are of prototype Ferraris, some are original Pininfarina press photos with stamps of the reverse (e.g. 275GTS, 365 Daytona, 246 Dino etc) and some are close-up of design details. All are black and white, many are different sizes. These are quite small photos, the biggest is not bigger than A5 and some are much smaller than this. There are 17 in total + envelope. What a lovely rare collection- find another!
Condition report- please read carefully: These photographs all have light wear from handling and from over 50 years of storage. The envelope they come in has light creasing and handling marks all over plus a heavy crease and one area where the edge has worn through. All of the photos have handling marks- some have some light losses where double side tape was used/removed (e.g. 275 gts), some still have double sided tape left on, some are very good, some have handling marks or fingers prints. Some also have pencil crayon white or red 'arrows' which I have seen many times before on these classic press photos, which show where the photo will be cropped for use in a car magazine article. On the reverse of all of them there are original press photo stamps, some are pininfarina, some are Dr Seifert and there are handwritten notes- ironically all of the wear and tear, handling marks add authenticity and value as it shows the tru originality of these items!
