This is a very rare piece of the Lockheed Skunk Works built SR-71 "Blackbird" Airframe #61-7971. This aircraft flew missions all over the world collecting top secret information during the cold war. These aircraft were built primarily in Palmdale, CA. as well as Burbank, CA.
This piece of skin has actual fasteners attached. There are many plane tags but these with the fasteners is super rare. Uniquely numbered #2269. A true piece of aviation history!
