For sale is an exceptionally rare and very well preserved 1980’s period 1:3 scale model of the Ferrari F40.

Commanding attention with its unique finish and impressive scale, this Ferrari F40 model is an unparalleled piece of automotive display history. Created by the renowned Italian design house Pininfarina, this magnificent model measures approximately 5.5 feet long and is constructed from durable, lightweight fiberglass.

The model was originally displayed for a Ferrari dealership in Germany called Auto-Becker for the official launch of the iconic F40 supercar before making its way into private ownership some years later. It is finished in the legendary Ferrari colour of Rosso Corsa.

The historical significance of this piece is substantial. It was cast from the original production molds created by Pininfarina and Ferrari, and these were distributed to authorised dealers only. After its initial debut, the model enjoyed a life as a display piece for a private collector until the late 2000s, before being exported to the United Kingdom, where it has since resided.

The F40 itself is one of the most celebrated supercars in history, designed to commemorate Ferrari's 40th anniversary and being the last car personally approved by Enzo Ferrari. This scale model perfectly captures the F40's aggressive silhouette, including its massive rear wing, vented rear deck, and signature pop-up headlight housings.
