Ernest M. Flaherty retired to Sarasota, FL where I live. My Consignor purchased the scrapbook at an Estate Sale years ago.

This Album was purchased at the same time as Ernest M. Flaherty's Album with Signed Photos of Admiral Richard Byrd from the famous 1920'sAntarctica Expedition.Ernest M. Flaherty was a shipmate and good friend of Admiral Byrd's. There are a couple photos of Admiral Byrd in this album. This ad is more expensive due to the fact that there are many many signatures of famous USN Commanders in one of the booklets (Cruzen, Neimo, Hosmer, Reichmuth, Schiano, Forrestal).

Condition: Pages & Photos have been torn out of the album. There are some photos still in the album that were not torn out. Back of all photos have dried glue on them. Pages have all yellowed/browned due to age. Photos may have tears in areas.Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as "described".
