DESCRIPTIONExceedingly rare Herend piece. This striking vase (7012 shape) ishand paintedin the rare and beautiful Song pattern, rarely seen in the U.S. market. Featuring a ring-necked pheasant on tree trunk with peony blossom and floral vines in pink, green, periwinkle blue, blue-orange and yellow - done with artistic hand painted precision.In pristine condition, this pattern is unknown on this 7012 shape vase anywhere. The actual value of this piece is yet to be determined, likely well under our conservative ask.

STAMP / MARKINGSStamped with the 150th anniversary mark with Herend Shield, the vase shape is indicated"7012" with the pattern code "SG". Its production number is "188" and the month of manufactureis indicated with "B". Thus manufacturedin February of 1976 and as indicated this is a very limited piece. DIMENSIONS4" x 7" in height
