An exceptional, fine and impressive set of four antique Edwardian English sterling silver menu / card holders; an addition to our diverse dining silverware exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver menu card holders have a circular form onto three curvilinear feet.

Each piece is embellished with a hallmarked clip support to the reverse.

The anterior surface of each menu holder is embellished with a fine hand painted panel depicting four different breed's of dogs.

These exceptional menu holders were crafted by Birmingham silversmith Grey & Co in 1909; the items will have been crafted in the same year but due to the hallmarking system, the three menu holders are struck with the date letter 'i' and the other bears the date letter 'k'.

These impressive antique dog themed antiques are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The hand painted decoration is in perfect condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each holder, in addition to across the feet are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these antique menu holders - dog related.
