DETAILS:Great White Fleet Imperial Chinese cloisonne vase, depicting the crossed Flags of America and China with the Longevity character mark, all on a blue floral ground. Circa 1908 Condition: Measures 6" inches high. Bottom back has minor wear which is visible in the images provided. Overall a well preserved example with high shine surface areas. Measures approximately 7" inches tall.

BACKGROUND: The Great White Fleet was sent by President Theodore Roosevelt to "circumnavigate" the globe; making 20 ports of call. The Great White Fleet was made of 16 battleships and attending ships.
