Offered here is a scarce South African vintage promotional card set featuring Disney’s Goofy illustrated across a wide range of Olympic and sporting themes, issued as a Caltex / Boron petrol promotion during the late 1950s to early 1960s.

These cards were originally distributed at Caltex service stations in South Africa as a collect-and-complete promotional series. Due to their disposable nature, surviving examples — especially in groups — are increasingly difficult to find.

This offering is a large near-complete set of 17 original cards, all from the same series, printer, and promotional campaign.
