This artifact was bought directly from NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX and picked up personally. Internal parts are intact.

This GASMAP was flown on the HRF (Human research facility) Mission aboard the ISS. This mission was conducted in order to test the effects of long-duration space flight on the human body.

GASMAP stands for: Gas Analyzer System for Metabolic Analysis Physiology.
Its primary function was to measure the composition of gases in human breath. It was used for metabolic and respiratory studies, helping scientists evaluate how microgravity affects human physiology.Sensors: It includes gas chromatography or mass spectrometry to analyze Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, and Nitrogen.It was integrated into the International Space Station's Human Research Facility racks alongside other life science equipment like ultrasounds and ECG modules.This is an extremely rare, space-flown artifact, built with aerospace-grade components, MIL-spec wiring, and radiation-hardened electronics.
