This striking statement piece features a deep black ground decorated with an incredibly fine, continuous narrative scene around the body. The artwork showcases highly detailed exotic birds, fluttering butterflies, colorful pears, cherries, and elegant classical urns standing along a thin green base line. The gently domed lid features a beautifully rendered, realistic brown rabbit or hare at the center.
