Description

These exceptional Edwardian sterling silver soup tureens have an oval Adams style form onto an oval pedestal foot.

The surface of these antique soup tureens are plain and embellished with reed decorated borders to the upper rims.

Each tureen retains the original domed hallmarked push fit cover, surmounted with a sterling silver Adams Style urn shaped finials.

These antique silver tureens are fitted with impressive narrow loop style handles embellished with applied moulded decoration to the centre.

This exceptional pair of soup tureens can be supplied with the appropriate sterling silver ladles if so desired.

Condition

These antique soup tureens are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and exceptional condition.

The tureens have been professionally polished and are in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface and cover of each tureen are very clear, in keeping with age and location.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these examples of Edwardian silverware.
