The bell top style case is of small proportions embellished with gilt Rocco style mounts.

The case houses a equally fantastic 6 inch dial with silvered chapter ring and subsidiary dials. the subsidiary dials allow the selection of either chiming on eight bells or Cambridge chimes, the the opposite dial allowing the regulation of the movement. the strike silent is located just above the 12 on a slide. all of this is surrounded by fantastic gilt spandrels and foliage.

The equally substantial triple fusee chain driven movement chiming the quarters on a nest of 8 bells and the hours on a coiled gong, the movement has been fully restored to high standard by P.K clocks at Mansfield.

The ebonised case has also been fully dismantled from top to bottom, the case its self has been re-ebonised by our cabinet maker to a high standard and all the gilt has been hand polished while maintaining the originality.

This clock as a whole is absolutely stunning and i highly recommend it to be viewed it the flesh as my photography skills aren't the best.
